Kimberly Whipkey (she/her) is an accomplished advocacy and communications professional with more than 15 years of experience advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights internationally and in the United States. Prior to consulting, Kim was Senior Advocacy and Communications Manager at White Ribbon Alliance (WRA) Global, where she oversaw implementation of its large-scale campaigns. During her tenure at WRA, she served as the SCTG Country Advocacy Working Group Co-Chair and a co-organizer of the Self-Care Learning and Discovery Series. Before WRA, Kim worked at PATH as a senior officer responsible for developing and implementing policy and advocacy strategies to advance sexual, reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health in PATH’s program countries and to support the introduction and scale up of new, self-initiated contraceptive options including DMPA-SC, Woman’s Condom, and Caya Diaphragm. She also led grassroots advocacy to influence US foreign policy and state-level policy on reproductive health during her time at the Center for Health and Gender Equity and Planned Parenthood of Northern New England, respectively. Kim received an MPH from George Mason University and a BA in sociology from Bates College.
