The Series
Held every two years, the Self-Care Learning and Discovery Series (SCLADS) is a highly interactive virtual forum that invites the self-care community to share new knowledge, elevate findings and solutions, and forge connections across issues and geographies.
The series is open to all interested self-care stakeholders, including advocates, health providers, government representatives, implementers, journalists, community leaders, academia, product developers, feminists, youth champions, and more.
There is no fee to participate.
SCLADS 2023
The second edition of the Self-care Learning and Discovery Series ran over three weeks, from 30 October to 19 November 2023. It featured 21 highly interactive virtual sessions that addressed hot topics in self-care research, programming, and advocacy, including self-managed contraception and HIV prevention, digital health solutions for abortion self-care, self-care strategies for adolescent mental health, self-care in climate resilience, and much more!

SCLADS 2021
The inaugural Self-Care Learning and Discovery Series was held from 24 June to 27 August 2021. It featured 16 virtual sessions on various self-care topics, including self-care in humanitarian and fragile settings, digital health, menstrual health, adolescents and youth sexual and reproductive health and rights, self-managed abortion, and more.
